Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 01/06/2026 1. Services Soggy Doggy Pet Wash provides mobile dog washing and grooming services at customer-nominated locations. Services are provided by trained operators, who may be independent contractors operating under the Soggy Doggy Pet Wash brand. 2. Bookings All bookings are subject to availability. Booking times are estimates only and are not guaranteed start times. Due to traffic, weather, pet behaviour, service complexity, or other operational factors, groomers may arrive earlier or later than the estimated booking time. Where possible, customers may be contacted by the groomer to advise of changes to estimated arrival time. Customers agree to allow reasonable flexibility around booking times on the day of service. A booking is not confirmed until acknowledged by Soggy Doggy Pet Wash or an authorised operator. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or reschedule a booking where safety, animal welfare, or operational concerns arise. 3. Customer ResponsibilitiesCustomers agree to: Provide accurate contact and booking details Ensure dogs are accessible at the scheduled time Secure dogs appropriately prior to service Disclose any known medical, behavioural, or aggression issues Failure to disclose relevant information may result in service refusal or early termination of the service. 4. Animal Welfare & SafetyThe welfare and safety of dogs and operators is a priority. We reserve the right to: Stop or refuse service if a dog shows signs of aggression, distress, illness, or poses a safety risk Decline to continue grooming where animal welfare may be compromised No service will be carried out if it places the dog or operator at risk. 5. Pricing & PaymentsPrices are subject to change without notice.Payment is due at the time specified during booking.Additional charges and surcharges may apply for:• Heavily soiled coats• Matted fur• Aggressive or difficult behaviour• Extended service time• After-hours appointments• Weekend appointments• Public Holiday appointmentsAll prices, additional charges, and applicable surcharges will be communicated where possible before proceeding with the service. 6 Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-ShowsCustomers must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a booking.Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time may incur a fee equal to 50% of the total booking price, representing a genuine pre-estimate of business loss.Same-day cancellations, failure to attend a booking, failure to have dogs accessible at the scheduled time, or refusal of service upon arrival (no-shows) may incur a fee equal to 50% of the total booking price.Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.Cancellation invoices, no-show fees, and any other charges arising under these Terms & Conditions are payable within seven (7) days of the invoice issue date.Where payment is not received by the due date, the invoice will be considered overdue.A $15.00 administration fee will be applied for each reminder notice issued in relation to an overdue invoice. Any applicable customer cancellation or no-show fees must be paid before further bookings will be accepted. Fees may be charged to the payment method on file where authorised.Groomer-Initiated CancellationsIn the event that Soggy Doggy Pet Wash or an authorised groomer cancels an appointment for any reason, including but not limited to injury, illness, operational breaks, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances—whether cancellation occurs with notice or at short notice—the customer will not incur any cancellation or penalty fees. A replacement appointment will be arranged in consultation with the customer at a mutually convenient time.Nothing in this clause limits customer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Access & PropertyCustomers must provide: Safe and reasonable access to the service area A suitable location for the grooming trailer if required Soggy Doggy Pet Wash is not responsible for damage caused by unsafe environments, pre-existing property conditions, or factors outside reasonable control.
8. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law: We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss We are not responsible for undisclosed pre-existing health or behavioural conditions Liability is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the service fee, at our discretion Nothing in these Terms limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.
9. ComplaintsAny concerns or complaints should be raised within a reasonable timeframe after the service. We will review complaints in good faith and determine an appropriate outcome where applicable.
10. PrivacyCustomer information is collected and used solely for: Booking and service delivery Communication Business administration Information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. AmendmentsThese Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current Terms & Conditions.
12. Acceptance of Terms & Implied AgreementBy booking, scheduling, permitting, or continuing to receive services from Soggy Doggy Pet Wash, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, whether or not a waiver, consent form, or written agreement has been signed. Where a waiver or consent form is provided but not completed, the customer’s decision to proceed with or allow the service to continue constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and applicable policies. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. 13. After-Hours, Weekend & Public Holiday AppointmentsSoggy Doggy Pet Wash standard operating hours are Monday to Friday during normal business hours.Appointments requested outside standard operating hours may incur additional fees at the discretion of Soggy Doggy Pet Wash.Additional fees may apply to:• After-hours appointments• Weekend appointments• Public Holiday appointmentsAny applicable surcharge will be disclosed to the client prior to confirmation of the booking. 14. Overdue Invoices & Administrative ChargesAll invoices issued by Soggy Doggy Pet Wash are payable by the due date specified on the invoice.Where an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, Soggy Doggy Pet Wash reserves the right to issue reminder notices until payment is received in full.A $15.00 administration fee may be applied for each reminder notice issued in relation to an overdue invoice.Clients are responsible for ensuring payment is made within the specified time frame to avoid additional charges. 15. Outstanding Accounts & Future BookingsSoggy Doggy Pet Wash reserves the right to suspend, decline, cancel, or refuse future bookings where a client has an outstanding invoice, unpaid cancellation fee, or overdue account.Future appointments may not be confirmed until all outstanding amounts have been paid in full.Any payments received may first be applied to outstanding balances before being allocated to future services.Soggy Doggy Pet Wash reserves the right to recover any reasonable costs incurred in recovering outstanding debts where permitted by law. 16. Governing LawThese Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.Where services are provided in Queensland, the laws of Queensland apply.Where services are provided in New South Wales, the laws of New South Wales apply.© 2026 Soggy Doggy Pet Wash.
